Daniel McDyer, MD, FACOG, is an experienced OB/GYN at Florida Woman Care of Jacksonville, with their office located in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. McDyer first enrolled at Rollins College in Orlando, Florida, and completed a degree in chemistry with cum laude honors. After deciding to pursue a career in medicine, Dr. McDyer attended the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa and performed a four-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Florida Health Jacksonville. During his residency, he also served as the administrative chief resident.
After completing his medical training, Dr. McDyer moved to Mount Dora, Florida, and entered private practice for four years. But his heart was still in Jacksonville, and it wasn't long before he returned. Today, Dr. McDyer has been practicing in the Jacksonville area for more than 20 years.
Throughout his career, Dr. McDyer has established himself as a leader in the field of gynecology and obstetrics. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and was the Section 2 Chairman of District 12 of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists from February 2017 - October 2020. He was also president of the Jacksonville OB/GYN Society and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. McDyer is also a founding member and president of the Advanced Biological Research Group, Inc. (abrg.org). ABRG is a dedicated team of physicians, scientists, and infectious disease researchers committed to exploring the intricate biological impacts of novel infectious diseases on human health.
